FAQs
Before ordering
By subscribing to Tokyo Snack Box, you’ll receive a new box of Japanese snacks every month, for as long as you like.
Renewals are automatic, but the subscription is commitment-free: you can cancel or pause anytime from your account.
A reminder email will be sent 3 days before each renewal, giving you plenty of time to make changes or cancel if needed.
Yes, you can absolutely order without a subscription. We offer one-time purchase boxes as well as individual products (like KitKat, Pocky, etc.), with no subscription required.
Shipping is free on all our boxes, no matter the destination. For individual products (KitKat, Pocky, etc.), free shipping applies on orders over €50.
With the exception of US customers (see below), customs fees are included in the shipping costs and are covered by us—you won’t have to pay any additional fees upon delivery.
Starting August 29, 2025, all shipments to the U.S. may be subject to a minimum $30 customs processing fee (MPF), even if the snacks themselves are duty-free. Please note that Tokyo Snack Box cannot refund this fee, as it is charged by U.S. Customs.
With every box shipment, you will receive a complete list of snacks along with their allergen information. If you have dietary restrictions, feel free to contact us after placing your order with the list of ingredients to avoid, and we will tailor your box accordingly.
By default, our Japanese snack boxes are not halal. However, we can remove snacks containing meat and replace them with other meat-free options.
Yes, we deliver to almost every country worldwide, except for countries at war as well as Spain, and Portugal.
Shipments to French overseas territories (DOM-TOM) take a bit longer than to mainland France, but packages usually arrive within 6 weeks. No worries — all snacks have a shelf life of at least 3 months!

Please note that every paid box will be shipped — even if you cancel your subscription, you will still receive your box :)
To cancel your subscription, we recommend following the steps below on a computer, although it’s also possible on a phone:
1. Create an account (if you haven’t already) using the same email address you used to make your purchase.
2. Log in and go to your account area, under "My Account."
3. Click on the link "My Subscription."
4. There you’ll find a button to cancel or pause your subscription.
5. (Optional) These steps are straightforward, but if you have any questions, feel free to contact us by email — we’re here to help!
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.
Delivery typically takes 10 to 12 business days.
You can track your package directly on your country’s postal service website using that tracking number.
