A robot ibex that can be ridden

During a trade fair dedicated to robotics, Kawasaki Robotics unveiled its strange robot named “Bex”.

Looking like an ibex, he can be overlapped by humans, making him one of the robots that is not only autonomous.

Bex has horns that light up, legs that can go up, down or turn into wheels, all with a seat and handlebars for whoever climbs on his back.

With its 80 kilo structure, Bex could be used for warehouse surveillance or in the transport of goods. Indeed, the robot can carry up to 100 kilos and has cameras.

The National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo, one of the largest museums in Japan, has a habit of presenting exhibitions that are out of the ordinary.

Yesterday, Tuesday March 15, was the opening day of the Pokémon Fossil Museum exhibit. As noted, fossils and skeletons of Pokémon species are on display.

The exhibition features both real fossils (which inspired the franchise), but also those of Pokémon. The goal is to educate fans on the similarities and differences between the two.

It is presented at the National Museum of Nature and Science until June 19, before changing location.

 

NBA returns to Japan

NBA returns to Japan with the match Golden State Warriors against Washington Wizards

The NBA is making a comeback in Japan, with two preseason games between the Golden State Warriors and the Washington Wizards.

These two teams, which will set foot on Japanese territory for the first time, will meet at the Saitama Super Arena on September 30 and October 2.

These will be the first NBA meetings in the archipelago since 2019, when the Toronto Raptors (2019 NBA champion) faced the Houston Rockets.

NBA Japan Games 2022 will be presented by Rakuten and broadcast in over 200 countries.

The presence of the NBA in Japan goes back more than 30 years. Games have been broadcast since the 1988-89 season, and licensed NBA merchandise is available at more than 700 retail stores nationwide.
